A kiko options is a combination of a knock-in option and a knock-out option, the main question with a kiko option is “Which level wil the share price of a certain company hit first”. A kiko-option does not have an expiry time, it expires when a certain share price is reached.
An example of a kiko option would be “The current share price of BHP is 32.570, which target will BHP hit first? [32.748] or [32.392]”. If you analyze the situation, and you expect an upward trend, you will buy a kiko option for AUD 32.748, and you will get paid your profit the moment BHP shares will hit the AUD 32.748, as long as it did not hit the lower AUD 32.392 level before that time.
The big different between standard binary options and kiko options is that binary options expire after a certain time, while the expiration of a kiko option depends on the share price level it reaches.
